It may sound a little bold, but whether you love it or hate it, Instagram owned 2012. With this year marking such feats as surpassing the number of users on Twitter and having more than 200 photos uploaded per second in a single day, this “little” photo site has really become the forefront of social media.
Even after the uproar on December 17 about the change in terms of service, many people still continue to use the site. It shall remain to be seen if 2013 will be as spectacular for Instagram as 2012 was.
