The holiday season is great for so many reasons, especially the parties! There are the traditional family parties, the tacky Christmas sweater parties, the secret Santa or white elephant parties, and then there are the famous (or infamous) work parties.
Speaking of work parties, the Agency Entourage team was able to attend one of the biggest industry-related parties of the year last night, the DFW Jingle Mingle. And, let me tell you, the Jingle Mingle wasn’t just any old work party. When nine creative organizations from the Dallas/Fort Worth area came together to throw a party, we knew we were guaranteed a good time!
From the hors d’oeuvres and dessert bar (we were quite partial to the yogurt pretzels) to the awesome music and personalized flipbooks, there was plenty of fun to be had throughout the entire evening. Although we didn’t win a raffle, there were some great prizes up for grabs, like a free Chevrolet car loan for a week, and all of the ticket proceeds went to the Dream Fund.
Considering it was a social media event, it probably comes as no surprise that the main attraction was the jumbo Twitter screen. With a constant stream of tweets that mentioned #ChevyMingle or @DFWJingleMingle, it was fun to see what everyone was tweeting about the event (the super size Twitter pictures were pretty funny to see, too).
Thank you to all of the sponsors and volunteers that made the 2011 Jingle Mingle a success. For the Agency Entourage team, it was definitely a holiday event to remember!
