Hi…Hey, I’m Fey (like Tina Fey)!
I was raised in Dallas, Texas, but will always consider myself a Dentonite at heart! I went to school at the University of North Texas where I graduated in May 2016 with a B.A. in Journalism and a B.F.A in Photography.
Denton Living
While in Denton, I did my time at the North Texas Daily, running around all over the city photographing news, entertainment, and even DIY projects. I quickly became acclimated to the city and dove into the creative world. I “networked” which eventually led me to work with classmates, now lifetime friends, to create an art, music and culture brand called Austere. We had the vision to produce a small batch of high-quality print magazines and host events for the creative community of the city. What we didn’t expect was that after about two years our brand would be global. Our social media audience blossomed, so we moved most of our content online and got the opportunity to host creative events from Austin, Texas to Brooklyn, New York!
Big Agency Experience
My first internship in the world of advertising was at The Richards Group. I got to work with cool brands like MetroPCS and Clamato to create content, social strategy and work on analytics and reporting. I fell in love with all things social media and realized then what truly makes me tick.
After my big agency experience, I realized that I wanted to have a more personal relationship with my clients. I stumbled upon Agency Entourage and immediately felt like it was a great fit. A few interviews later and now I’m here, excited to be writing this blog as an Agency Entourage Interactive Producer!
Love for Art
Although I spend a lot of my time creating content, scoping out new social media platforms and drinking copious amounts of coffee, my second love is the world of fine art. I love traveling to New York City to see art shows at the MoMA, Whitney and the myriad of galleries there. The rhythm of the city reinvigorates me and seeing modern and contemporary art gives me a lot of inspiration for the brands I work on.
Agency Entourage is creatively innovative, and I’m excited to be part of this team as we make our mark on the future of advertising!
