Earth Day Texas 2014 @ Fair Park: Head out to Dallas with your fellow earthlings to celebrate our beautiful home! On Saturday and Sunday you can enjoy food, exhibits, vendors, and entertainment that are all geared toward sustainable living. There will also be appearances from some of the top “green experts” around. Best part? It’s FREE! We hope to see you there.
Denton Arts & Jazz Festival: Shoutout to the Denton Festival Foundation for putting on this FREE event! What better place to celebrate the arts than in a city that embraces dance, music, visual arts, and drama than Denton? Check out the awesome headliners and prepare to get a little weird!
Deep Ellum Gallery Walk: Gotta love Deep Ellum. Between its colorful vibe and excellent bars, restaurants, and galleries, an outing in Deep Ellum is sure to turn into an adventure. The Gallery Walk is a self-guided walking tour of over 15 galleries in the area. Get to know local artists and see what they have to offer!
EdgeFest: This Saturday, prepare to rock out to great alternative bands including Beck, Cage the Elephant, MS MR, The Neighbourhood, Bear Hands, Grouplove, and many more! The event will be held at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, which is convenient for those in the northern suburbs of Dallas. Tickets are still on sale, so jump on this!
