While it’s always nice to have a three day weekend and an excuse to spend more time hanging out with friends and family, soaking up the sun and participating in holiday festivities, we cannot lose sight of what Memorial Day is truly about.
We encourage you to take a moment to reflect on everything that service men and women have done for our nation. It’s hard to imagine where this country would be without those that have fought or are currently fighting for us.
If you know a member of the armed forces, past or present, be sure to tell them how much they are appreciated, today and every day!
