Don’t call it a comeback, but it looks like I am part of the Agency Entourage team for the second (third?) time in less than a year. After completing two consecutive copywriting internships with AE, I, Josh Wright, have accepted a full-time position as Account Coordinator.
Coming back to AE after a 3-month summer vacation feels like catching up with an old friend. No matter how long it’s been since you’ve seen them, you can still start exactly where you left off as if no time has passed at all. There is no awkward stage of small talk that inevitably leads to a forgetful goodbye. Just like with old friends, it was never goodbye with Agency Entourage. It was always “see you later.”
Those are the best kind of friendships and the best start to a career I could have imagined.
As someone who has always thrived in a creative environment, I believe that advertising is where I am meant to spend the rest of my career. I couldn’t be more excited about starting that career with an agency I know and love. Agency Entourage has given me more opportunity and knowledge than any other aspect of my education, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
It’s good to be back working alongside new and old friends, but this time, I’ve got my OWN DESK. No more moving to another room when another intern gets to work before me and steals my favorite seat. No more unpredictable work schedules and difficult customers at retail stores. From now on, I get to work with like-minded individuals and enjoy the benefits of my first ever full-time job. I think I am going to like the 9-5 life.
