Although I am relatively new to the professional world, I have come to realize that finding a job I fancy in an environment I enjoy being in is harder than it sounds. After searching high and low for the right agency in Dallas, I ended up at the doorstep of Agency Entourage. I found AE by chance, and knew it would be a great place to continue my career. They offer just the right amount of support and leadership, which proves to be invaluable in the workplace. Being able to collaborate with talented, driven individuals makes the agency experience extremely fulfilling and allows me to grow and learn every day.
About me:
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas, TX. At the ripe age of 18, I decided to leave the great state of Texas and set my sights on California. I graduated from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Anthropology and a minor in Political Science. At this point, you may be wondering why an Anthropology major would decide to go into marketing and advertising. To make a long story short, my anthropological coursework made me realize that I absolutely love learning about cultural behavior and just people in general. If you think about it, this translates perfectly into marketing because you have to know who your consumer is and what drives them to behave a certain way. After I realized I wanted to pursue a career in this field, I decided to head to New York City to gain some real world agency experience. I was afforded the opportunity to work with major clients such as Frito Lay and Kahlúa, but even they could not keep me from returning to the big D.
Fun Facts:
- I can pogo stick pretty well. I can even go up and down stairs.
- I am a concert junkie. I love rap and rock the most, but am open to anything new.
- I studied abroad in Granada, Spain for 5 months. It was the best time of my life.
- I am 50% Salvadoran.
- One of my hobbies is finding great places to eat around town. FT33, anyone?
I am excited to join the AE family and look forward to taking on new and exciting challenges!
