It’s not often I have an entire blog article to introduce myself. I’m usually cramming my thoughts and personality into 140 characters, a Facebook status or an Instagram photo, which, I have come to realize, is less of, “a picture is worth 1000 words,” and more “here’s what I had for brunch dinner.”
All jokes aside, allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Stephanie Arbetter and I am the newest Interactive Producer here at Agency Entourage. A Dallas girl at heart, I was born and raised in this great city and graduated from Greenhill School in Addison, TX. I went to the University of Georgia for college and graduated with an ABJ in Publication Management and a minor in Spanish. Go Dawgs!
Although I cannot think of a greater place to attend school than Athens, GA, I can probably pinpoint my desire to return to Texas somewhere between January and August of 2011. I spent an incredible spring semester studying abroad in Barcelona and then consequently interned for the summer in St. Louis, MO, for Nestlé Purina PetCare’s advertising agency. It was probably the most amazing, unforgettable and eye-opening time in my life. I also learned more about my interests, my desired career path and myself in that time than in any other year of my life.
Fast forward to today, and I could not be happier with the direction my life has taken. I am now working with a top digital social media agency in an industry that is ever-evolving. There is truly a new opportunity to learn, seek and discover hidden around every corner. I am able to continue doing what I love most – meeting new people and engaging others in conversation – both in person and online! It’s funny, I originally pursued a degree in Publication Management because it so easily lent itself to my original goal of being an Editor-In-Chief of a magazine, but my communication and publication skills coupled with social media management turned out to be a perfect fit!
