Hi! I’m Ashlan Barta, the new SEO Strategist at one of the best digital marketing agencies in Dallas, Agency Entourage. After growing up in Coppell, TX, I decided to venture across the Red River to attend The University of Oklahoma. Boomer Sooner! I graduated with a BBA in Marketing with an Advertising Emphasis. While in college, I worked for our student-run advertising agency. I discovered my passion for social media analytics while working on the American Airlines account. After graduation, I made my way back to Texas and started learning about SEO best practices as a digital marketing intern. Okay, now for the good stuff!

- I have an unhealthy addiction to Sprinkles cupcakes.
- Many mistake my name for “Aslan,” the lion from the Chronicles of Narnia.

- I love the Mavs and OU football.
- I watch all Real Housewives shows on Bravo (embarrassing, I know).
Recently, I fulfilled my dream of living in the Big D and moved to Uptown with my 6 lb Papillon/Yorkie mix named Lucy. In my spare time, I love to explore the city of Dallas, discovering new brunch spots, local shops and restaurants. Here are some of my favorite local places:
- Campisi’s – My parents had their very first date here. The meat sauce lasagna… delicious!
- Keller’s Hamburgers – Old-fashioned, drive-thru hamburger joint. Pull up your car, turn on your blinker and people watch.
- Crooked Tree Coffeehouse – This quaint coffee shop is located in an old house on Routh St. Try the chai latte!
- Milk & Honey – Do you love Anthropologie? This is the perfect boutique for you if you want to stay within a certain budget!
- Klyde Warren Park – I mainly go for the variety of food trucks but this is also a great place to spend a leisurely afternoon.
While I’m very analytically inclined (hence I’m an SEO Strategist), I have a very creative, artistic side to me that I express through photography and creative writing. Working at one of the leading digital marketing agencies allows me to apply my creative thinking in strategic, analytical ways. I am excited to be apart of the SEO team and the Agency Entourage family!
