Well, it’s official. My first SXSW experience has begun. I’ve been in Austin for about a day now.
Badge pickup was extremely well organized. I picked mine up with no hassle. It literally took 45 seconds. The quick code worked great. Check-in went off without a hitch.
Later in the day I met up with Jonathan at the Austin Convention Center. We worked from there for about an hour before heading over to the Agency Entourage Happy Hour at La Condesa.
It was a blast. The whole AE team met up with Canonball Creative and a few new friends. We sipped on cocktails and celebrated the start of SXSW.
Around 9:30 I realized I was a mile away from my truck. About a minute into my walk I learned that it wasn’t going to happen. I bit the bullet and took my first pedicab ride. It was a chilly experience, but well worth it.
