My name is Paige Nilmeier (yes, like a page in a book, with an “i”) and I am Agency Entourage’s newest Interactive Producer. I recently shifted my budding marketing career to the agency side by joining the AE team. I am an alumnus of California State University, Fresno with a BS in Business Administration with an option in Marketing.
My New Home
I have called “The Big D” home for nearly six months now! I hail all the way from sunny California; Fresno to be exact (major kudos if you have heard of it). If you’re still scratching your head and wondering where that is, it’s right smack dab in the middle of the Central Valley of California. Best known for being the birthplace of some of your favorite fruits and veggies!
People often ask, “Well why did you move to Dallas from California?” and my answer is always evolving. Initially, I moved to be closer to my boyfriend and my sister, but I have now realized so many other benefits from the move – namely, being pushed outside of my comfort zone, because that’s where real change and growth occur!
Where It All Started
My real passion for marketing developed while working on the client side for a national homebuilder. This position provided me with a solid marketing foundation and real-world experience. Thanks to a great mentor/boss/friend, I received over three years of digital and traditional marketing, social media management and event planning experience. The marketing and interpersonal skills I acquired during my time are invaluable, and I plan on taking them with me throughout my career.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors (when it isn’t humid) and exploring my new home, I am an avid reality television viewer, and I never say no to taking a road trip.
Looking to the Future
I am only five days in at Agency Entourage, and I feel like I am already part of the family, which has also helped to make my new city feel more like home! The team at AE will come to be an invaluable resource for me, and I am eager to soak in all the knowledge they have to offer.
