Hi everyone! My name is Ryan Ehlmann, Supply Chain Management(SCM) major at the University of Houston and the new SEO intern at Agency Entourage. I’m excited for the opportunity and I can’t wait to get to work, but first let me share a little about myself and how I got here.
What I Love
I moved a lot growing up, but even more during my time in college at Texas A&M and later the University of Houston. I moved out from home and found myself relocating to a new home in different cities four times in just three years. The most difficult part was having to say goodbye to my friends time after time, but nobody wants to say goodbye forever. I started making visits every month to check up on old friends and to spend time together to keep our connections strong. At first the idea of spending hours on the road traveling across the state and country terrified me, but now I’ve come to love it and it’s one of my favorite things to do. Every weekend I look forward to choosing a different city on the map (usually they’re cities in Texas) and heading out for an adventure. There really is nothing like the feeling of speeding down the highway knowing a good time with good people is waiting for you at the end.
Combining Driving and Work
There are few things I love more than cruising down the highway with the windows down and music loud. It was this love of driving that actually helped me find one of my first real jobs as a digital marketing intern at Texas Motor Speedway. Working with TMS I managed to combine my love of driving with skills I was learning in school for the first time and I knew I was on the right track.
Paying it Forward
That’s part of what brings me now to Agency Entourage. I’m excited to start the next chapter of my career. While working with TMS I worked with ad agencies on the other side of the table, and they helped us to produce what we had considered our best campaigns. With Entourage, having the opportunity to improve what I know, all while helping other people build the brands they love, is one I couldn’t pass up.
