The second day of SXSW Interactive was my best experience down here yet. A common theme throughout the day was water (hence, the title). It rained quite a bit. Luckily, it didn’t hold us down.
I attended four sessions scattered around downtown. The first one of the day focused on how to portray yourself as an expert at your craft and some best practices when dealing with the design “approval” process. I was highly entertained and plan on implementing some of the knowledge I gained into my daily work routine.
Around lunch time a few of us randomly met at a session titled “What Drives Word of Mouth.” This one was super cool. During the middle of the session I felt like a student again. The information we were learning was incredible. I took extensive notes (if you’d like a copy, give me a shout).
Our video specialist, Andrew made it down yesterday afternoon. He took some really cool footage of the overall SXSW environment. Keep an eye out for an AE SXSW video soon.
Last night all of us gathered for the Agency Entourage boat party. The seas were a bit rougher than planned, but we had a freaking awesome time. Our party boat was catered by a delicious Mexican food place and we had full-service bar. The greatness of Spotify allowed us to sail ad-free too.

I’m off to my first session of Day three now…
