Every year the Agency Entourage team takes a trip down to Austin for SXSW to learn about the latest and greatest marketing trends. With so much going on there’s no way to capture everything. That’s why we look ahead, do our research and compile a list of what we think will be the most impactful sessions of the weekend. Today I’m going to be highlighting our top 3 sessions in the Brands & Marketing track at South By Southwest.
1. Facebook IQ: 5 Consumer Shifts Shaping 2020
If there’s anyone with a huge pool of data to derive consumer shifts, it’s Facebook. They even put a few teasers in their findings in the session description. Apparently, 50% of all ecommerce in the U.S. will be from a mobile device and 85% of all customer service interactions will happen without a human in 2020. Tracking and staying on top of these trends (and acting upon them) is what helps keep brands relevant in a world that’s becoming more and more digital. Read more about the session or add it to your schedule here!
2. Increasing CTR with 1:1 Content Marketing
This panel at SXSW has an impressive lineup of representatives from Coca-Cola, Rag & Bone, Social Native and Facebook. Content is an investment for brands and making sure your content resonates with your audience is paramount. These experts will be covering how they utilize personalized marketing solutions to predict content relevancy and increase performance. If you employ content marketing techniques, you won’t want to miss this session.
3. SEO Trends Meet Up
Search Engines aren’t going anywhere, but how people utilize them and how brands optimize for them is ever changing. What’s the best way to learn about the latest and greatest SEO strategies? Talking to people who live and breathe search engine marketing. SEO experts from around the world will be in attendance to condemn the outdated and marvel at the newest trends. Be prepared to scribble down every word and optimize your website with what you learn. While it’s not a traditional session, this meet up is sure to fill up fast.
Hopefully the Agency Entourage team will be bumping into you at one of these sessions, but if you’re not able to make it don’t be dismayed. You’ll be able to read all of our coverage of SXSW right here on our blog starting on March 9, 2018. In the meantime you can check out all of the insights we brought back from last year.
