Senior Media Buyer + Planner

Job Description

Summary:
The Entourage is growing, and we need you! Agency Entourage is a Dallas-Fort Worth based Digital Marketing Agency. We are looking for a Sr. Media Buyer + Planner to support the paid media efforts of several high profile regional brands. We are looking for someone who has a passion for growing a client’s entourage. If you love connecting the digital with the physical world and you have a knack for building truly integrated digital and traditional media campaigns, this gig is right up your alley.

The Sr. Media Buyer + Planner position is supported by a Media Coordinator and will report to the agency Principal. Duties will include research, planning, implementing, optimizing and managing multiple clients’ media efforts to ensure that campaigns meet objectives and KPIs. Applicants must be comfortable researching and presenting relevant insights internally and externally to sell-in programs and report on results at the conclusion of each campaign.

Principle Expectations:

  • Develop strategic plans that exceed client expectations
  • Manage media plans including budgeting, execution, reporting and daily optimization
  • Ensure account and creative team is apprised of changes to the placements via our internal project management system
  • Generate and track all campaigns via tracking codes, phone tracking, etc.
  • Coordinate day-to-day paid media assets with Creative and Account teams, and implement once approved
  • Stay apprised of industry standards, media platforms and new media programs/opportunities and advise on new ways to reach targets
  • Process media invoices and reconcile discrepancies monthly
  • Has the proven ability to develop and foster strong relationships with media partners
  • Evaluate media opportunities and present media plans clearly in writing and in person
  • Analyze analytics, provide campaign effectiveness reports to clients on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to ensure pacing and optimal delivery of KPIs and recommend optimizations when appropriate to improve media performance
  • Maintain budget reconciliation worksheets for each client

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge working in Strata Software
  • Experience with digital media invoice reconciliation
  • Passionate, articulate and can craft a compelling case/recommendation and present it to a client
  • Understand digital media planning, implementation and optimizations
  • Understand paid social media
  • Understand paid search
  • Understand non-digital media, including, but not limited to broadcast, print, OOH, etc. (preferred, but not required)
  • Understand innovative technologies such as connected TV, OTT, etc. (preferred, but not required)
  • Understand how digital fits into the overall client marketing/media strategy
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to relate results to client business objectives, providing a basis for measurement of the digital activities
  • Experience working with Google Analytics (required)
  • Ability to work well in a team structure and independently as needed
  • Detail oriented, proficient at managing projects and able to multi-task, organize, prioritize and structure workload
  • Experience using Facebook’s Ad Manger (Power Editor), Pinterest and LinkedIn’s Ad Platforms, Google Analytics, Strata Buying Software and all things Nielsen

Pay commensurate with experience. The only candidates interviewed will be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in communications (i.e. Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, etc.)
  • 5+ years of agency or brand experience; 3+ years of media planning experience
  • Ability to collaborate well with a team
  • Ability to identify marketing goals, develop marketing strategies and tactics to obtain goals, implement and measure effectiveness of those tactics, and then make adjustments as needed based upon metrics

Interactive Producer [Dallas, Texas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma]

Job Description

Summary:
An Interactive Producer (IP) is responsible for managing online marketing, providing excellent account service and generating meaningful content for the agency’s clients. The ideal candidate has experience identifying client business needs and producing interactive marketing strategy to support client requests. Additionally, the candidate must have experience communicating through key social media platforms and the proven ability to grow, engage and convert highly targeted audiences through social media productions. An IP interfaces with various departments of the agency, so they must be a team player and a self-starter with solid multitasking abilities and time management skills to meet deadlines and expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple accounts and work across key members internally to produce campaigns and client deliverables
  • Conduct discovery and competitive research for clients to formulate a SWOT analysis
  • Have an understanding of what it takes to build a targeted online community for the client
  • Provide analysis and develop strategic plans based on client customer profiles
  • Utilize proprietary tools to monitor clients online presence
  • Meet face to face with clients on a regular basis as needed
  • Continually develop client’s strategic communication plans based on analytics insights
  • Understand content marketing and how that translates to the client’s communication plan
  • Have a strong writing background and understanding SEO implications of online content generation
  • Develop and deploy on-going email marketing and successful customer relationship marketing (CRM) programs
  • Blog and social media communications
  • Deploy, monitor and manage paid media (SEM/Social PPC) campaigns

Key Design and Web Technology Knowledge:

  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • HTML and web technologies
  • Experience in major blogging platforms and how to work within the environment
  • Social technologies and management platforms (i.e. Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Email marketing management platforms (i.e. Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, etc.)
  • Public Relations monitoring and management platforms (i.e. Cision, PR Web, etc.)
  • Search Engine Optimization tools (i.e. Raven SEO Tools, Scribe SEO, etc.)
  • Google Analytics and various other web analytics

Pay commensurate with experience. The only candidates interviewed will be able to demonstrate:

  • Digital (online) marketing experience with proven demonstrable results and specific example work/case studies
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in communications (i.e. Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, etc.)
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience, ideally working in an agency setting (although not required)
  • Ability to collaborate well with a team
  • Ability to identify marketing goals, develop marketing strategies and tactics to obtain goals, implement and measure effectiveness of those tactics, and then make adjustments as needed based upon metrics
