A staple of SXSW Interactive the past few years is the Mashable House. Located, at The Main on 6th Street, this special SXSW house is always worth checking out. This year’s theme definitely did not disappoint!
Mashable’s announcement prior to opening their doors to SXSW attendees:
“This year, we dedicate the Mashable House to you: the superfans. The people who love to love what they love. The people who don’t simply partake in culture; they devour it. It’s for the people who are passionate, curious and downright obsessive.” – Mashable
Take a look inside the Mashable House at SXSW 2017!
During day one of Mashable House, the world record for highest stack of tortillas was broken in front of a live SXSW audience as well as thousands of viewers watching a 90-minute live stream.
Hungry onlookers in the audience chowed down on burritos.
Guests were welcomed with a ton a free swag and refreshments.
A cool feature at this year’s Mashable House was Painting With Temperature. This demo is presented by Lennox and allows users to create murals with a spray paint-like can.
Navdy has a demo this year inside the Mashable House. This company is changing the way we use our phones in the car. They give drivers the ability to see the road and their phones like never before. Allowing users to get directions, receive calls and text without needing to pick up the phone.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time this year at the Mashable House. Don’t miss it this year at SXSW Interactive!
